State attestation is required before MEA attestation, which depends on the type of documents, relevant state attestation is required. For example in case of education documents, attestation from State Education Department is required. In case of personal documents, Home Department or General Administration Department of the concerned state should attest the document prior to attestation by the MEA

Embassy Attestation

Embassy attestation is done after the MEA attestation/apostille An Apostille is a type of attestation in which documents are legalized in a particular format that is acceptable in all nations that belong to the Hague Convention. Essentially, Apostille is an international attestation that is acceptable in about 92 countries, and most of the western world recognizes Apostille.

Apostille stamp is a square shaped computer generated sticker stamp, pasted on reverse of the document by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. This is a unique computer generated stamp having a unique identification number, through which any member country of The Hague convention can check its authenticity online. Under normal circumstances, once the document is apostilled, it does not require to be attested further from the concerned embassy.

If a document is apostilled, it does not require to be attested.

It has come to our notice that some other hoax Companies are engaged in making use of website similar to Alankit or Alankit.in and have created Websites like Alankit.in are being copied and being illegally and fraudulently used as BC /CSP Company and are also using images of our website / CSP Point of Alankit for illegal display on it. One such example is found in Case of Assam Gramin Bank, where we are not Corporate BC, still some miscreants have displayed banner of Alankit CSP reportedly working for Assam Gramin Bank and have, thus, criminally associated the CSP Point with Alankit. Alankit does not own any CSP Point at that publicised location.

These entities have done this illegal act for cheating and misleading people. While such fraudulent entities have been causing dent in reputation of both Alankit and Bank, they are playing foul with Customer’s confidence in Alankit and the Bank/s concerned. Common people are requested to please do not get into the trap of such fraudsters/illegal websites. Alankit will not be responsible for any claims that are arisen out of any act not related to the transaction/ activity done in association with Alankit.
